Has experience with the TEACCH pedagogy and students with NPF.

- holds a teaching certification for grades 4-6 & subject qualifications in English, Swedish, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Natural Sciences
- has good subject knowledge and a flexible pedagogy
- has interest, knowledge, and experience regarding the school's student group
- has experience creating structured, predictable, and visually clarified teaching situations
- has experience working with visual support and visual teaching
- has experience writing action plans

As a teacher at Ingridskolan, you will be responsible for a class of about 6-8 students. You will lead and guide them in their schoolwork with the help of a teaching assistant who works in the class. You need to be flexible and able to tailor the teaching to the students' different needs.
The mentorship at Ingridskolan involves a more comprehensive and continuous effort than in many other institutions, with daily contact and check-ins with guardians regarding the student's development, challenges, and support needs, as well as close collaboration with the EHT.
We are looking for a colleague who has a strong interest in special education, reading, and mathematics learning, and experience/training within the school's student group (NPF / autism / ADHD / dyslexia / language impairment, etc.)
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Important qualities include being confident in the teaching role and being prepared to take responsibility for the student's development towards the goals in a holistic perspective. We consider each student's unique strengths, situation, and needs. This requires us to be extra attentive and flexible in our work and approach.

Information about the school
Ingridskolan is a small primary and secondary school primarily adapted for students with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) but is open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.
The school works based on the TEACCH pedagogy where each group/class has a teacher and one to two teaching assistants.
Ingridskolan is a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development aimed at creating good learning and leisure environments for children and youth within ASD. To facilitate this, staff receive continuous supervision and training in ASD.
Ingridskolan offers a school environment characterized by calm and peace where you have great freedom and time to work individually with each student's different needs.
